2009 will be remembered as a year of domination for Electraction CCM Racing when their rider Stuart Edmonds won both the MX1 and MX2 Carville Irish Motocross Championships. Competing aboard Italian TM machinery, Edmonds clinched the MX2 title at the penultimate championship round after visiting the podium 13 times in 14 races aboard his MX250f TM. These visits included eight wins, six more than any other rider thus cementing TM's domination of the class.
Along with MX2, Edmonds campaigned the MX1 championship on the MX450f TM and was once again the frontrunner for top honours. Five wins, 12 podiums and only once finishing outside of the top five, the Electraction CCM Racing rider rode with a consistency that non of his fellow competitors could match rewarding his team with the MX1 championship at the end of what was a thrilling and exciting season.
