
Another masterful display by TM’s Davide Gozzini secured his second pole position of the weekend in the S1class. He was never troubled during the 20min session to secure his second pole position with a lap time of 1:00.621 seconds slower than his anti-clockwise pole time but still 2 seconds under the current lap record held until now by Liam Robertson on the Yamaha City YZF 450. Angus Reekie and Linden Magee again filled the minor places, with Robertson again the best of the locals in fourth position.
In the S2 class Reekie held onto his pole position with Christian Iddon offering plenty of opposition on the Gold Coast Aprilia knocking 4 seconds off his previous best times to secure second spot on the grid with Linden Magee taking third. The TM Racing pair of Ian Gray and Larry Hill were split by Cameron Stronach who was making a return to Supermoto for the first time in 2009.
Racing on Sunday will commence at 10.00am with 19 races on the card’
