Holidays over? A winter passed in the warmth in front of the fireplace? A week under the sun on some Caribbean beach?
Are you joking?
None of that! Truly! The TM Racing/Berloni Team, in fact, has never stopped working to present itself at its best for the 2006 season that officially opens hostilities on Saturday February 4th in Genoa with the second edition of the Indoor Enduro.
A host of innovations for our team; starting from the “four blue musketeers” who will carry the colours of the TM Racing/Berloni Team, managed by Tullio Provini, into the competition, to the new two- and four-stroke TM, that will be rendered even more penetrating, to the support of prestigious partners, up to the goals to reach. Leaving behind a 2005 characterised by important victories such as those of the Italian 250 2-stroke Absolute title and the World Team Championship at the Six Days won by Alessio Paoli, the TM Racing/Berloni Team re-proposes an international team with four riders from as many countries for 2006.
TONY AMORIELLO
“I am very pleased at having succeeded in preparing for 2006, together with the Serafini family, the owners of the TM, a team consisting of four top riders who I hope will continue to give us great satisfaction. The Finnish, Petri Pohjamo, will change class in the World Enduro Championship. He will leave the E2 and pass to the E1. He will be able to take part in the various Grand Prix either with the 2-stroke TM 125 or with the new 4-stroke TM 250. It will depend a great deal on the conditions of the race and the characteristics of the tracks. Our Alessio Paoli will aim at winning the Italian 2-stroke 250 title again, while he will still be engaged in the E3 class in the World Championship. The young Australian, Jacob Stapleton, will be the main rider of the TM Racing/Berloni Team in the Junior World Championship. Finally, the new acquisition, the young Scottish Euan McConnell will race in the class E2 World Championship with the new 4-stroke TM 450”.
TULLIO PROVINI
“Our aim will not only be to win as much as possible. We have many innovations to develop because the TM commitment is to offer all the riders and fans increasingly better performing and truly unique motorbikes. 2006 will be a long and exacting season but I am sure that our four boys will know how to repay our efforts and our commitment”.
It will, therefore, be the Genoa Indoor Enduro programmed for Saturday, February 4th in the Sports Palace that will raise the curtain on this long-awaited 2006 season.
