10 March 2006

For the second time, and by now near the beginning of the championship season, the teams and the riders that will defend the TM colours in the various World Championships 2006 were presented to the press and television.

The Finn Antti Pyrhonen is confirmed entrusted for the third consecutive year in the MOTOCROSS, and will take the TM MX 450 F onto the track in the MX1 class. A very fast specialist on sandy tracks in 2005, he was slowed down by an accident suffered in the South African GP. We are therefore expecting a great recovery from him.

Four riders will be engaged in the ENDURO races with “the blues” made in Pesaro. The Australian vice World Champion, Jake Stapleton who, on the saddle of the two-stroke TM EN 250, will attempt the assault upon the world title in the EJ category (under 21). The Finnish 2003 World Champion, Petri Pohjamo who will present himself this year at the start of the E1 World Championship with the official TM EN 125. The Scottish “giant” Euan Mc Connell debuts in the E2 class with the TM EN 450 F. His task is to dominate the powerful Pesaro 4-stroke. The reigning Italian Champion, as well as winner of the Italian Six-Day Nationals 2005, Alessio Paoli, will participate in the world championship in the E3 class with his inseparable TM EN 300.

Great news also for the SUPERMOTOR Team with the return of “prodigal son” Fabio Balducci with whom we are aiming for the most prestigious laurels of the S2 class with the TM SMX 450 F. A New Entry also for Simone Girolami who will be at the start of the S1 World Championship with the TM SMX 700 F. Robert Baraccani is also reconfirmed in the S1 class in the TM SMX 530 F saddle.
