The last round of the Internationals of Italy that took place in Mantua, the sandy track Lombarda has remade the trick for this important international race.
Good news for the Team Tm Factory with the return of Max Nagl who recovered well after the blow suffered in Riola Sardo.
Samuele Bernardini on the sand of Mantua is immediately at ease and in the qualifying gets an extraordinary third time.
When the gate of the Mx2 gets lowered Samuele shows off a great start but at the first corner he is hit by an opponent who makes him fall, Bernardini even if he falls victim in a last fall but thanks to a great comeback closes the race with a great result and under the checkered flag he passes in twelfth position.
In the final standings Samuele Bernardini occupies the fifth position.
Max Nagl in the hard-fought Mx1 manages to express himself at his best and closes his official tests in sixth place.
At the start of the race Max starts well and thanks to an excellent race pace and showing comforting signs of a good feeling with the bike, he has conquered a great fifth place.
In the final heat the Supercampione where the best 40 riders of the two classes took to the track, we postponed to a firing start by Bernardini who was fourth in the first lap battling with the most powerful 450. Nagl failed to start well and during the first curves it was slowed down in the center of the group, the strong German driver with a good race pace managed to climb up to the sixth position. Bernardini concluded seventh.
An excellent result for the Tm Factory team in view of the first world race in 15 days.
Marco Ricciardi comments on the race: “It could have been better for Samuele but at the first corner he was literally spread by an opponent and so the result was compromised, even if he had a good comeback. Excellent Max’s heat, he is improving and he needs training to find the feeling with the bike. Bernardini in the supercampione was phenomenal at the start struggling with the 450, we are happy for the pace he showed during the race. Nagl was hindered in the first corners but then he found a good step, we are satisfied because we have continued the development for the material to be shipped to Argentina.”
